Starting from January 2024, Luminar Neo will no longer offer separate Extensions nor the Extension Pack for sale as a one-time purchase. We will also no longer offer the 2023/24 Creative Journey Passes for lifetime customers wishing to access generative technologies.
Our goal is to simplify the process of accessing all the latest technologies in Luminar Neo for all of our customers. The most convenient way to do that will be to purchase a Pro subscription.
Instead of releasing individual Extensions throughout the year, Luminar Neo will have two major product updates per year with exciting new features and improvements, and regular minor updates addressing performance issues and bug fixes. All the Extensions you’ve already purchased will still be available to you.
- I’ve already bought the 2023/24 Creative Journey Pass, how will this change affect me?
You’ll continue to have access to all the benefits of the 2023/24 Creative Journey Pass, including generative AI technologies. Plus, we’ll be extending access to generative technologies until December 31, 2024, giving you +4.5 months completely for free.
- I have a lifetime license of Luminar Neo and all the Extensions, but I haven’t bought the 2023/24 Creative Journey Pass. How does this change affect me?
You will receive features such as Studio Light, Neon & Glow, and Water Enhanсer as a complimentary gift. Plus, you will access all the existing and future updates for free. But big upgrades may require extra upgrade payments. All the generative AI features are included in the Pro subscription so the way to access them would be to switch to the subscription.
- I only have a lifetime license to Luminar Neo. How does this change affect me?

Yes. You will get all the updates of Luminar Neo free of charge. But big upgrades may require extra upgrade payments.
- I don’t have a lifetime license of Luminar Neo now, but I’d like to buy one. What will I get access to with my lifetime license?
The lifetime license for Luminar Neo will include all product updates, all Extensions, and 1-year access to generative AI features from the moment of purchase.
- I own the Luminar Neo Explore Plan subscription. How does this change affect me?
All the Extensions and the generative features are included in the Pro subscription so the way to access them is to upgrade to the Pro plan.
